Steamroller exists to breathe life into stories, characters, and experiences in visual, physical, and virtual spaces. Each project that comes our way, be it a game, a film, or a theme park ride, exists in its own universe. It is our job to bring this multiverse to life. Our animators build believable characters and whole worlds in a multitude of universes, while our developers manipulate the rules of perception to transport you to a new definition of reality. We relish the opportunity to bring our clients’ universes to life while also developing our own stories.

New Website Launched!

Sometime in the middle of December of last year our website caught itself a nasty little virus. The site was beyond our healing abilities and so we unfortunately had to take it down. Thankfully we had already started working on the new and improved Steamroller Studios website which you are now viewing. Over the last year our company has grown more quickly than we ever could have imagined. What started out as a few people making their own game, has turned into a company with about 25 people. It was time to update our site to more accurately reflect the kind of work we’re doing now. As you can tell, our contract work is a much bigger focus on this new site. But rest assured, Deadwood: The Forgotten Curse is still very much in development. We actually just hired another team member for it. But Deadwood updates (including the Log) will now be on deadwoodgame.com. This should keep things a little cleaner and more organized going forward.

So stick around and explore our new site! You can learn about how the company got started. Or maybe you’d like to see the kind of projects we’ve been working on. Perhaps you want to learn about our awesome team or marvel at all the fun we have here. Enjoy, and feel free to let us know what you think.
