A multiplayer party game where cat-pirates hunt treasure while avoiding a pesky dog-shark. A “Dober-fin” if you will. Coming to Steam Dec 2019.
Duties: As project lead, my job was to keep the project moving steadily using scrum, while looking for ways to optimize production.
-compared team’s weekly labor budget and prioritized gantt chart to prevent scope bombs. Found a <10% margin of error in animation scope so I made cuts until the project was in scope.
-minimal scope cuts despite 34% decrease in labor hours.

Spirits of Usawa
A pitch for an action game set in a magical African-inspired world.
Duties: I was in charge of organizing and leading a team of 8 interdisciplinary devs
to come up with the game concept and create an Art Style guide. I facilitated consistent communication between team members and presented the final pitch
– Dissected what goes into creating a successful game pitch through research, experimentation, and extensive visual development.
-Laid out entire project with prioritized tasks and used weekly sprints to track progress.

Invasive Species & Haunted Jacksonville
These were two story features I produced. One covering invasive species in Florida and the other covering Haunted locations in Jacksonville and tracking down their origins.
Duties: Organize production schedule, Plan shooting locations and times, facilitate story-boarding and write script, final approval on editing all under tight deadlines.
-kept the project alive despite two consecutive interview cancellations and a Premiere Pro rendering failure.
-both stories ended up on the annual “Best of Inside Jacksonville” episode on local TV.
