Steamroller exists to breathe life into stories, characters, and experiences in visual, physical, and virtual spaces. Each project that comes our way, be it a game, a film, or a theme park ride, exists in its own universe. It is our job to bring this multiverse to life. Our animators build believable characters and whole worlds in a multitude of universes, while our developers manipulate the rules of perception to transport you to a new definition of reality. We relish the opportunity to bring our clients’ universes to life while also developing our own stories.

Experience

Resort Mania (Unity 3D, June 2018 – Present)

·         Designed the core mechanics of the game and the project’s direction.

·         Developed Game Structure and State Machine for the project.

·         Implemented Room System for the player to choose how space will be used.

·         Stream Live progress through personal Live-streaming account.

Made of Metal (Unreal Engine 4) – Academic Final Project (December 2017 – April 2018)

·         Designed and implemented the Modular Weapons System for the project.

·         Weapons are created though a Data Table with interchangeable Stats that modify every aspect of the Weapon.

·         Extended this Weapon System to support Modular Pickups and Weapon Selection.

·         Implemented a Saving System for the Game to track Weapons and Player Stats.

Ringleader (Unity 3D, October 2017)

·         Worked as a Combat Feature Designer for the duration of the project.

·         Designed and implemented the Combo Heap System, which recorded moves during a recording state and then released them in order.

Global Game Jam (January 2018)

Pandora’s Music Box (Unity 3D) – Top Down Puzzle Game

·         Designed the Main Level Layouts and their mechanics.

·         Created the puzzles and the respective AI pathing for these.

·         Scripted and implemented fog of war and interactable objects to the Game

·         Created map generator based on color coding, where each pixel of an image represented a unit of the map.
