About

Steamroller exists to breathe life into stories, characters, and experiences in visual, physical, and virtual spaces. Each project that comes our way, be it a game, a film, or a theme park ride, exists in its own universe. It is our job to bring this multiverse to life. Our animators build believable characters and whole worlds in a multitude of universes, while our developers manipulate the rules of perception to transport you to a new definition of reality. We relish the opportunity to bring our clients’ universes to life while also developing our own stories.

Project Manager

Orlando, FL

Hello there, Steamrollers!

Local boy Bill Leonard reporting in… ! Today, I’m writing to submit my résumé for the open position of Project Manager listed on steamrollerstudios.com

I spent over 13 years at a large integrated advertising agency managing all manner of digital projects — from full-blown e-commerce websites to interactive games. With this experience and skillset in-tow, I know I’ll be able to hit the ground running and have an immediate impact on Steamroller’s goals!

Presently, I’m an agile project manager for a software operations team, working to launch a modern health care benefits enrollment and management platform on web and mobile. As a startup, I was able to establish processes and pipelines from scratch, giving me the opportunity to have a real impact on the product development.

Additionally, I take great pride in my ability to communicate and rally people & teams to work together — and actually enjoy the process all the while — no matter how crunchy it may get! 🙂  I dig being in the trenches with the team and leading by example.

As much as I geek out using technology to deliver awesome user experiences across platforms, my other passion is video games. It took me some time to realize that what I really want to do is apply my skills to help make games!  While I realize the open position isn’t directly related, I’d take much pride in the fact that — in some small way — I would be contributing to the process by helping the people who are.

I’m ready to do what it takes to move my career in this direction, and dedicate myself to the task!

Thank you for your time and consideration of my interest in the Project Manager position… I look forward to speaking and the chance to meet in the near future!
