Steamroller exists to breathe life into stories, characters, and experiences in visual, physical, and virtual spaces. Each project that comes our way, be it a game, a film, or a theme park ride, exists in its own universe. It is our job to bring this multiverse to life. Our animators build believable characters and whole worlds in a multitude of universes, while our developers manipulate the rules of perception to transport you to a new definition of reality. We relish the opportunity to bring our clients’ universes to life while also developing our own stories.

Christopher POhl

Went to the University of Texas at Dallas to study computer animation. Took on a job at Reel FX during the winter break between semesters of 2018-2019. Worked as a crowd animator on Sherlock Gnomes. After graduating from UTD in 2019, I took on a role as a 3D Animator at Rooster Teeth, working on their popular web series, RWBY and Gen:Lock. While there, i learned how to cleanup motion capture animation and utilize tools for motion capture importing and implimintation, as well as animating on 2’s. Animated a variety of characters, cameras, props, and vehicles. Afterwards, I went to Brazen animation as a contracted games animator. While there, I learned to animate for video games as well as their piplines techniques to importing animation cycles into Unity. after the project was completed, I was hired back at Rooster Teeth as a 3D Animator. I am still currently working at Rooster Teeth, but am looking for new oportunities in the animation industry.
