Steamroller exists to breathe life into stories, characters, and experiences in visual, physical, and virtual spaces. Each project that comes our way, be it a game, a film, or a theme park ride, exists in its own universe. It is our job to bring this multiverse to life. Our animators build believable characters and whole worlds in a multitude of universes, while our developers manipulate the rules of perception to transport you to a new definition of reality. We relish the opportunity to bring our clients’ universes to life while also developing our own stories.

Monster based Farming Simulation Game            Sep. 2016-May. 2017

·   Implemented an edge detection shader for perpendicular voxel models in order to create the cartoon style

·   Designed and Implemented Monster and NPC’s AI, behavior and animation

·   Implemented a Markov Chain based random name generator for players to pick a random name when captured monsters

Voroni Diagram Memory Game          Apr. 2017-Apr. 2017

·   A weekly prototype project with a prompt of Belfast; I designed the game with the inspiration from Giant Causeway

·   Designed around voroni algorithm and implemented a memory game where you need to reverse your memory

K-D Tree based Guarding Game          Mar. 2017-Mar. 2017

·   Designed a game around K-D Tree where you clear enemies by pushing tree nodes and protect your people to destination

Accelerometer Shooting Game                 Feb. 2014-Feb. 2014

· Implemented in-game screen-shot saving and loading for iOS and Android devices

· Designed a no button control scheme with gestures and the accelerometer for iOS and Android devices

VR Experimental Art Game                    Jan. 2016-May. 2016

· This is a project cooperate with the Met Media Lab to make an interesting experience for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and exhibit on the Met Digital Open House.

· Helped and found a way to extract the topography data of the oil painting and transform it into a height map

Multiplayer Augmented Reality Game                 Jun. 2014-Jun. 2014

· Implemented network communication between 2 players with Arcalet for distance lovers

· Designed customized sign identifier on a greeting card to make the experience feels consistence

HTML5 Multiplayer Pong                 Oct. 2015-Oct. 2015

· Implemented network communication of fast-pace game with Socket.io

· Made a 3 player circular pong cooperative mechanics

Shooting Game Combined with Tower Defense Element                Dec. 2013-Jan. 2014

·   Created and implemented enemies model, AI, animation, particle effects, as well as sound effects.
