Steamroller exists to breathe life into stories, characters, and experiences in visual, physical, and virtual spaces. Each project that comes our way, be it a game, a film, or a theme park ride, exists in its own universe. It is our job to bring this multiverse to life. Our animators build believable characters and whole worlds in a multitude of universes, while our developers manipulate the rules of perception to transport you to a new definition of reality. GRAPHIC DESIGN/LICENSING EXPERIENCE____________________________________________

Lead Packaging Designer, Laser Pegs Ventures, Sarasota, FL 2015 – Present

Responsible for all aspects of the packaging process from conceptualization through execution and production for a minimum of 20 products each year. Collaborate directly with upper management to translate their strategy into creative solutions for packaging, POP, brand identity, merchandising & collateral. Create packaging/print mock-ups for the marketing and sales departments. Approve all incoming packaging proofs and blister arrangements within the scope of each project. Design and coordinate the construction and installation of trade show booths used at four global toy shows attended annually. Produce all print material for each show including booth graphics, catalogs, and floor banners.

Managed 18+ intellectual properties with an emphasis on new content creation. Rigorously reviewed and approved all submittals for licensed products. Led a multidisciplinary team of 5-20 artists in the strategy, design, and production of the 3D animated pilot episode of the Peg Heads cartoon. Directed all departments to guarantee work met or exceeded the expected quality and performance standards for the show. Established direction for animation, lighting, and vfx teams by personally creating/providing examples and reference. Planned and implemented department schedules, work milestones, and overall production goals to ensure the pilot episode was finished on time and within budget.

 

3D Modeler/3D Animator/Visual Development, iStory Animation Studios, Sarasota, FL 2013 – 2014

Created content for Peg Heads intellectual property including original character designs, style frames, modeling sheets, and character expression sheets. Hired a team of five artists to model/texture/rig supporting characters, environments, and props based on established show style. Directed four Peg Heads animated shorts that explored, defined, and launched the shows core characters.
