Steamroller Animation Announces New CEO and New CCO
MT. DORA, FLORIDA – April 20, 2022. Steamroller Animation, a Mount Dora-based animation studio, is so proud to announce the promotion of Aaron Gilman as CEO of the growing studio. For the past year, Aaron has served as Chief Creative Officer, a role which industry veteran Jalil Sadool will now assume. Aaron and Jalil are swapping roles to further the mission and vision of the studio.
The dynamic duo who have been best friends for over 15 years, have worked together for several years and balance each other’s strengths and weaknesses in a profound way. Aaron expresses his excitement for the new role, “Jalil and I share such a deep respect for each other through our friendship and our working relationship. It’s truly an honor to work alongside him as we continue to build the future of Steamroller. The growth, culture, and environment that Jalil has been able to build in such a short time have been nothing shy of amazing and I look forward to continuing to drive our collective vision forward.”
Jalil adds, “The growth of our once little studio has been one of our proudest accomplishments. Our team, our culture, and our work have grown into something I never dreamed of. Aaron’s vision and finely tuned leadership skills will help take Steamroller to the next level and will continue to nurture and grow the people that make this studio so special. I’m incredibly excited to work alongside Aaron in a more creative role as we develop and share our own stories.”
Aaron and Jalil will continue to work closely side by side, to ensure a smooth transition. We welcome them both to their new roles and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future of Steamroller!
CONTINUED STUDIO GROWTH
Steamroller has doubled in size over the last couple years and we continue to make a name for ourselves within the animation industry by offering high end animation services for partners such as Weta Digital, Epic Games, NetherRealm Studios, Framestore, Apple, and Guerrilla Games. NONE of this would be possible if it wasn’t for our amazing team. We’re also currently producing our very own Intellectual Property projects and will be releasing Curse Of The Deadwood, our video game, this coming summer.
We believe in touching the heart and soul of our audiences by creating remarkable stories and breathtaking content. Our inspired team of outstanding artists, character, creature and facial animators, gameplay and cinematic animators not only bring our own vibrant and unique content to life, we also have the privilege of partnering with some of the largest film and gaming studios on the planet to breathe life into their stories.
